I live between Dyersburg and Covington. Both were hit hard, but my town oly had minor damages. The videos really don't show how bad it really is. We've had more rain today, and Nashville is supposed to get more too. West Tn towns normally don't flood like this, most are a built above flood levels. We get alot of backwater in the bottoms, from the Miss river. It is mostly farm land below the bluff with few homes built on stilts. Backwater..everyone is prepared for here..Mega rains..we're not. We also had alot of tornado's which are common for this time of year here.

Tennessee will bounce back..we ARE a strong and caring state. Prayers for all that have suffered from the storms..and prayers for all those that are helping to put lives and families back together.
