People are concerned about whole foods and where the best pools are. Maybe we aren't as bad off as we think we are. Sheep being led to the slaughter anyone?

The people who are most concerned with that stuff probably aren't too badly off. Don't know what to make of the 'sheep' comment.

Texas created 125,000 jobs since January 2010 and the economic growth is strong here now.So yes the economy is good in Texas !

Don't forget to connect the dots. Sheep...led...slaughter.

Yeah problem is Texas leads the country in % of employed who are minimum wage workers and also Texas has what the politicians have told us will be an $18 billion dollar budget shortfall. I know you're French but here we take what politicians tell us with a grain of salt.

the problem is that Rick Perry campaigned in his primary on budget surplus and now has no place to hide...should be interesting when his bluff is called if people who voted for him in the past actually will look at how he has messed up our economy by playing favors for special interests and trying to feather his own nest for national politics...

It's not fair I think.
Texas had budget surplus for the 2 terms of Perry, except this fiscal year : economic crisis. And it's very good compared to California.

And about minimum wages I don't see the problem...These times are tough, a job is a job.And a worker is better than a jobless.

Texas under Rick Perry has it backwards. If you create a well run attractive state with a well educated populace and reasonable taxes that is what attracts businesses.
Perry thinks if he just curries favor with special interests throws some money at corporate America and sucks up to the rich everything will magically work out for Texas.
He has it backwards and the amount of damage he has done to Texas in his tenure at the helm of Texas is really quite sad.
