Yea, i'm from about an hour from Katy.... Katy's a suburb of Houston...it's humid and the mosquitoes are bad, but Katy has a big Mall (Katy Mills) and a lot of good restaurants... Interstate 10 into Houston from Katy is a MESS but they're doing road work, which should be odne in a few years... it's not too bad...

hey. im a stupid at katy high school and local residents. i been here for about 5 to 6 years and its great. i like it alot. the weather is pretty normal. not to hot some days, then there are days when its burning up! the mall is great since they are adding all the new stores in. us people here are super friendly, dedicated and friendly. there should really be a reason that keeps you from living here

I've always liked Katy. But, the weather is very humid (that's sort of a common theme in Texas though). They have a lot of great restaurants and shopping, and some of the neighborhoods/subdivisions seem really nice and family-friendly. I've heard that Katy has great schools as well.
