Wisconsin gov. caught in prank by caller posing as donor - USATODAY.com

sure it is all about the budget...sure...

Think Gov Perry would take a call from David Koch? You betcha!
Of course any politician likely would--he is one of wealthiest Americans
but what they would have to talk about....verrryyy interesting....

Probably some of the same type conversations Richard Trumka(head of AFL-CIO) has had with Obama when he has gone to the White House 2-3 times a week for the past couple of years. All politicians' doors are always more open to the people with the real money and real power than they are to any one else.

I called it before this even came out. The Dems (and for that matter, the unions) aren't any better, but I knew the Republicans would use fear mongering about the budget to try to push their agenda. I just hope all this mess doesn't create another situation like the Roosevelt Recession.

The unions were unwaivering until they saw that they were going to lose this thing. They tried to force through contracts before this new legislature and new governor took office. Then they refused to negotiate on anything when approached by Walker. Now, the bill is the only way to make sure they cannot come back and tank the recovery effort is to eliminate their abililty to collectively bargain.

Also, I have listened to the audio of this call and just don't see the issue. To be honest, I and many Wisconsinites would like to see the 14 democrats arrested for their cowardly act.

They say everything is bigger in TX. But I doubt anything in TX is bigger than your prevarications.

you should read some of his other posts...

the fact is that Walker was as friendly as a new puppy when he was talking to his hero David Koch who invested the max of 43K in his election campaign and gave another 100K to the Wisconsin Republican governors committe and sponsored a big website about BackWalker to promote their agenda...

Jesse Berney: Top Six Revelations in the Call Between Fake David Koch and Governor Scott Walker
check out the 6 points as to how Walker spills the beans on his and Koch's plan to bring their brand of "government" to Wisconsin and then the rest of America--

Two points that I think really show he is a man of NO principals except winning--
First is where he brags about how he and his "think tank" have a plan to lie to the leader of the Democratic senators who are out of state--telling them that Walker is willing to negotiate--
and then after the senators return to the floor of the Senate and it has been called to session--they can leave for lunch and the Republicans can sneak in a vote on the budget--
cause once the senate has been called to order basically it stays that way for the day--
yeah--lie to a state senator about a willingness to discuss/negotiate options and then behind his back and those of other senators sneak in a vote to achieve your ends...
that is someone I would really admire...

Second--again about misrepresenting issues that he says are directly related to the budget crisis--
Five minutes into the call, Governor Walker says he is planning to issue between 5,000 and 6,000 "risk notices" to state workers announcing that they are at risk of being laid off. He makes this statement in the context of what he is planning to do to put pressure on Democrats to cave into his demands, not what is necessary due to the budget crunch.
So scare tactics again--and misrepresentation of fact--
makes you really trust what he says...yeah...

Just makes me wish someone had tried the same thing with Perry--

Not at all. This is well documented fact. (something liberals don't like to accept). There is nothing acceptable about the deceptions and hate the liberals exhibit both in Wisconsin and Texas. You lost everything in the last election and you are looking for anything to run with to regain the power. What is going to be extremely interesting is when BO is gone in 2 years and the true conservatives take the presidency along with the gains we already have made. The days of liberals being in power are gone. Get used to it.

One thing I've learned over the years. If you're right, your enemies will attack more than ever. I have been personally attacked by more than a few members of this board for my solid conservative views and consistent support of those with the same views. I must be dead-on! Thanks!!!

LOL!

Is this a joke?

Please. Aren't you the ones who continue to insist that global warming is a hoax and evolution is a myth while voting for politicians to pass laws against women, gays, blacks, Latinos, Asians, Muslims, and the poor as you accuse them of being "illegals," "socialists," "baby killers," "perverts," "terrorists," "lazy," and "UnAmerican?" And you are now accusing us of exhibiting deception and hate?

Really? Is this kinda like that whole "I oppose Big Government, which is why when I see people protesting against Big Government, I, as a conservative, choose to side with Big Government!" thing you got going on?

And I have a good feeling you're going to be sorely disappointed in 2 years when he's re-elected.
