I took this photo a few years ago while doing aerials from a helicopter in the Dallas Fort Worth area. I believe I took this shot while enroute from Fort Worth to Dallas along the northern side of the metro, like from Texas Speedway east to Addison near Dallas. I cannot find the house on google earth or anything.

Anybody know?

Is it in Westlake? Westlake is by TMS, and the houses there are enormous.

Westlake would be my first suggestion but there is nothing in that photo to say the shot was really made in TX except for the oaks--they definitely make me think of Texas--

So true, but trust me, it was taken in Texas.

Totally playing with you. The Ewings lived at Southfork Ranch which is clear on the other side of DFW. And is tiny compared to that.
