Actually, now that I think about it, if we're just talking about THE city and just THE city, it's Houston. Definately Houston....

I agree, and I'm a Dallas homer.

That being said it's all relatively close unlike NYC in New York State and Phoenix in Arizona.

I agree. I come to these boards because I love Texas and am trying to gather as much info as possible because I am thinking about moving back to Texas, but to a diferent part than I lived in before. But a lot of the posters on here are really getting on my nerves with all the "my Texas city is better than your Texas city" bullcrap in almost every single thread and post. I think I'll just seek my Texas city info some place else from now on...

There is also too much mindless city bashing and trolling by some looking to get a rise.

The most important city in Texas is Waco as that is the location of The Grand Lodge of Texas.
