Ha! Two more retirement lists and Texas hit the top 10 best list on both! It probably would be an individual thing...depends on the people involved whether Texas would work or not.

Personally, I think Texas is a great state for retirement.However, it would probably be better for those retirees who had a higher income due to the property taxes and no income tax.CD encourages updating old threads.
