LOL I just saw this ... I am the same age as you but a year behind you in the CP due to a bad car accident that put me a grade behind ,and yes I was there but you were above me as a matter of fact no one even saw me ... my family was good enough and 2 first cousins were princesses and one old cousin a King , but I was too wild and had quite a reputation , so they didnt approve of me to be with the rest of the princesses ( and they were probably correct in doing so ) but gave me an Honorary Duchess title to appease my grandparents and mom who were very upset ..........then years later I am now married to a Dutch person and live in the Netherlands sometimes . So ,, the t was added to Dutchess lol silly I know ..my husband named me Dutchess Cotton Puff ....

It is special to be any sort of royalty over there and I caught my Father in law telling his relatives I was a real Duchess lol ... I have explained many times, but he didnt care , as far as he is concerned there is a real Duchess in the family ... I think I will go put on my crown and go watch Andy Griffith or something .......

Old???...I don't think so... I still have a memory of good times in Waco. It was fun growing up in a town where shopping was done on main street...Austin Ave. Lake Air Mall is just another "mall".

@Chuck Baker: Leslie's Chicken Shack's owner's son was named Chicken Smith, right? I want to get in touch with his ex-wife, a friend of mine from the 60s in Waco. Her first name was Randy.

Chuck, I think you knew my husband in Colorado Springs? I certainly know YOUR name from our 30 years in the Springs. We have retired and moved away, now.

This is a very old thread, so I'm not so hopeful that anyone's reading it - BUT if so, who knows Randy formerly married to Chicken Smith? Thanks, Marsha Abelman
