I hope this does pass. There are a lot of construction companies out there following the law, and it's not fair when other ones aren't. You should never get ahead when you run a business unethically.

1. they should do that in their own country

2. they should leave their FAMILY AT HOME.....if these are "jobs Americans won't do because you can't feed a family" then how in the hell can a family of illegals be fed on that same pay or less.....unless of course they live 2.5 families per apartment or 12 in a 3 bed room house

so now school districts that are funded based on property taxes that used to have a family of 4 where 2 were kids that SPOKE ENGLISH have 6 or 7 kids in that same house that DO NOT SPEAK ENGLISH and their parents DO NOT SPEAK ENGLISH and have a 5th to 7th grade education from MEXICO

we are importing a permanent under class, barely educating their kids to the point they "don't want to do that job" their parents came here for, and then we need to import more while the kids of the ones we imported in the past are qualified BARELY to work the drive thru

we can spend a billion dollars per kid, but when they live in a house of 12 that has adults that do not speak English, have little education themselves, and are incapable (even IF willing) to help with schooling we are never going to CONSISTENTLY crank out the best and the brightest from those circumstances (very low % exceptions and single feel good stories aside)

3. we are KILLING Mexico by all the able bodied males leaving the country to come here and leaving massive villages of women, elderly, and single parent kids that are going into decline and corruption....and now it is becoming more common for those males to get to the USA and find it is not as fun or interesting to send as much money back home like they used to especially since it is harder to go back and forth home which means they choose to stay here and abandon the family back home much more frequently than in the past

4. we need ROTATION of "workers" and "labor"......YOU as a SINGLE INDIVIDUAL WITHOUT A FAMILY OR KIDS comes here FOR NINE MONTHS to do TEMPORARY AND SEASONAL LABOR and then YOU GO BACK HOME with your fist full of gringo dollars so YOU AND YOUR FAMILY CAN HAVE A BETTER LIFE IN MEXICO instead of having a horrid and crappy low level poverty life in the USA......take your ABOVE AVERAGE PAY FOR MEXICO FROM THE USA BACK HOME and LIVE A BETTER LIFE THERE.....NOT HERE IN THE USA WHERE YOU WILL LIVE A CRAPPY LIFE

it is not the job or the duty of the USA to deliver a better life IN THE USA to everyone that "want's it"....they need to MAKE A BETTER LIFE IN THEIR COUNTRY and part of the way they can do that is COME HERE TEMPORARILY FOR SEASONAL LABOR WITHOUT YOUR FAMILY and then GO HOME and use that money for a better life IN YOUR COUNTRY

you can come here for 9 months max and then you go back to THE BOTTOM OF THE LIST and then when everyone on the list has had a chance and you have moved to the top of the list you get ANOTHER NINE MONTHS and then you GO HOME AGAIN and build a better life AT HOME IN YOUR COUNTRY

one day when you no longer want to come here or you have the life you like in YOUR COUNTRY then you remove yourself from the list and you live IN YOUR COUNTRY not here in the USA

5. we need to stop rewarding those that come here illegally.....we need to NEVER give them the chance to live here permanently and we need to get over the idea that SEASONAL PART TIME LOW SKILL LABOR needs to LIVE HERE WITH A FAMILY instead of LEAVING THEIR FAMILY AT HOME IN THEIR COUNTRY and coming here SEASONALLY FOR TEMPORARY LABOR WORK

if we are just going to move them, and their family here to do low skill low pay jobs and then make up for it with social services, devastated education systems, and the like we would be better off KEEPING THEM OUT and just raising the pay of those jobs until those that were BORN HERE AND HAVE A RIGHT TO BE HERE will do those jobs instead of pretending that it is cute and fun and cool to import people to forever be at the lowest of the low standard of living doing jobs that we have deemed not fit for our own welfare cases and our own home grown lazy and ignorant and uneducated...because we have PLENTY OF THEM and we only get more by bringing in entire families of low education levels to do the lowest paid and most transient jobs in the country instead of bringing in SINGLE INDIVIDUAL LABOR TEMPORARILY to do those jobs and then RETURN HOME with their money where that money will afford them a much higher than average lifestyle.....IT IS NOT THE PROBLEM OF THE USA that that better than average lifestyle in their country might not be as good as their well below average lifestyle here.....it is NOT THE JOB OF THE USA to raise the lifestyle and living standard of the rest of the world, but if we have an actual NEED and TEMPORARY LABOR can come here SEASONALLY and make better money and go home and live better than average AT HOME then I have no issue with that, but WE DO NOT OWE THEM EVEN THAT much less we DO NOT OWE THEM THE CHANCE TO MOVE HERE WITH A FAMILY

5. we need to tell the employers that say "I can't afford to retrain new people every year for only 9 months" that apparently they DO NOT HAVE LOW SKILL SEASONAL JOBS they apparently have higher skill (even if not real high skill) jobs that are not seasonal so they need to HIRE FROM WITHIN THE USA instead of relying on low wage labor or they need to figure out a way to deal with SEASONAL ROTATIONS OF WARM BODIES that will ONLY be here for 9 months or less and then THEY MUST RETURN HOME and they need to deal with that over and over and over or figure something else out

6. everyone gets checked out, everyone has a background check, if you commit even the SMALLEST crime while here you are SENT HOME IMMEDIATELY and you are OFF THE LIST FOREVER.....this includes drunk in public (if you are here for nine months to WORK you should not have time to be drunk in public much less making a point of it to where the cops come) this includes minor theft, this includes driving with no insurance, DWI, and the like....perhaps speeding or accidentally running a stop sign will not be on the list.....things you get a ticket for, but drunk in public, loud music, and other social disturbances get you SENT HOME AND OFF THE LIST.....your fiesta time is BACK HOME AFTER YOU HAVE BEEN HER TO WORK......do that BACK HOME.....NOT HERE

7. we have enough people in the USA PERIOD.....of ANY SKILL LEVEL WE DO NOT NEED MORE.....every million people is a city the size of Austin.....WE DO NOT HAVE THE RESOURCES especially when those resources are going to LARGE families of LOW SKILL LOW WAGE workers......we need the WORKER ONLY and they need to come here, WORK, drink some water and flush a toilet, shower, eat, have a beer or two and then GO HOME AFTER NINE MONTHS instead of having 12 others in their house that are NOT WORKERS and worse are going to schools they are not able to perform at grade level in or to even understand the language....they need to be BACK AT HOME IN THEIR COUNTRY IN THEIR SCHOOLS where they will be at their level and language instead of here in the USA sucking up resources that are already stressed as it is.....when all we needed was a SEASONAL TEMPORARY WORKER not a WORKER +8 here FOREVER

8. we cannot afford to build "dense urban housing" that is WAT MORE EXPENSIVE than cheap sprawl track housing for LOW SKILL LOW WAGE workers and THEIR FAMILIES and we do not need more sprawl to support LOW SKILL LOW WAGE SEASONAL LABOR AND THEIR FAMILIES

we need "dense rural housing" for TEMPORARY SINGLE INDIVIDUAL SEASONAL TEMPORARY WORKERS that have a HOME AND FAMILY IN THEIR COUNTRY

again everyone should get a chance not just those that have no respect for our rules and laws and borders.....we do not need a family to come here for some member of that family to work a low skill low wage job.....we do not need to import people to work non-seasonal or non-temporary jobs PERIOD we need to fill those jobs FROM WITHIN and when you do come here for NINE MONTHS OR LESS AS AN INDIVIDUAL WITHOUT A FAMILY OR DEPENDENTS you GO HOME and go to the bottom of the list so everyone gets a chance....if you "mess up" or make a "little mistake" you are OFF THE LIST FOREVER and you can STAY HOME FOREVER.....if you do not rotate out and go home you are OFF THE LIST FOREVER and if you return you GO TO JAIL and anyone that hires you gets a MASSIVE FINE or even goes to jail

we are FULL IN THE USA.....we cannot support ENTIRE FAMILIES FROM FOREIGN COUNTRIES with jobs that will not support families that are residents and citizens.....thinking it is possible is just stupidity and it only leads to schools that are over crowded and wasting resources to develop individuals that will barely qualify for a slightly better than low shill job, will not do a low skill job, and will forever be a member of the lower level of living in society and then we just import more....we do not need generations of low level workers and their kids for what are suppose to be seasonal temporary low skill low wage jobs that "Americans" are "too educated for" or "can't feed a family on" (as if every job should feed a family instead of some of them being entry level jobs)

COM HERE.....WITHOUT YOUR WIFE AND KIDS AND DEPENDENTS.....WORK SEASONALLY OR TEMPORARILY.....and then GO HOME!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, if they are going to stop illegal immigration they have to go after the ones hiring them.

That said, it won't pass. Texas is way too pro-big business to step on their toes.

I disagree with the notion of denying the undocumented, (especially the ones brought at a young age) who will meet certain requirements and will commit AND complete the necessary steps, a path to citizen. Actually, so does the general American populace.
