this seems like very cool news. but didnt Foxconn recently build a manufacturing facility in Texas? so Apple would still likely be using the same manufacturer as the one in China.

This is great since I am up for a new Imac. There was a story a few months back about macs being assembled in the US but it may be mostly custom configurations:

It may be a PR move, but it is still high tech manufacturing jobs in Texas. So at least we will benefit.
