I don't put much faith in the long term forecasts - they said it was going to be a higher than average Hurricane Season ..... and nada so far. I expect a fairly warm winter and hope for a wet winter - we really need the rain.

As usual - we will wait and see, and get what we get. You just can't outguess Mother Nature.

Not really concerned how cold it gets, just please send some of that wet stuff our way. Soon we'll be able to step across Lake Travis as though it were the Colorado River before the dam was built. My lawn burned up so many years ago I've decided to plant cacti everywhere in my yard. They don't prefer shade, but under my trees is the safest place for them so they don't get cooked too. I have a yard full of Ant Lions' homes.

I'm with you one this one. I don't care if it is cold or warm, I just want rain. Lots of it.

So far this is the best forecast out there. Says nothing about month to month variability though.
