I think there should be a healthy balance. If there's actually something that could improve Texas I'm all for it. But if they want to bring that rude god awful rat race and turn the cities into carbon copies of the cities they left then they need to gtfo.

Seriously the perks of cities like Houston, Austin, Ft. Worth and San Antonio are the lack of pretentiousness.

From what it used to be and what it is now i have heard it has changed extremely. I am all for changes in a good way but keep the changes balanced. Austin is now filled with transplants mostly from Cali and NY. These residents will want Austin to look like a mini NYC or San Diego, and as you can see it has sifted towards that. So escaping the outrageous rents and hectic life, will now soon be fully implemented into Austin.

No!!! That's terrible. Austin was the prettiest city in Texas. It was also the most laid back town. How sad.

What's the update on Houston though? The point is there's no point to living in Texas if there's a god awful eat race overly competitive and snarky young professional work environment like you on the coasts. What about San Antonio?

Can't these yuppie hipster geeks respect anything?
