I was sitting on the porch reading the paper and noticed my St. Augustine is starting to grow. I then witnessed a couple of small butterflies.

It's still early February and I am going to see a high of 80 today.

Anybody else witnessing an early spring?

Yes! We had a bunch of butterflies in our yard today, a couple of different kinds. I'm noticing one of my vines is starting to get some blooms. We weren't here last year so I'm curious to see what flowers.

If you look closely you can already see buds on many trees. I've also noticed a little bit of the Bermuda around starting to green up. We have had enough sunshine and warm days around the clock for them to start thinking "IT'S TIME". I AM TOO!!! No more cold, bring on the warmth

Yeah, I have patches of St. Augustine showing up, too! And more birds. I've been watering a bit to encourage the growth. I can't wait until the hummingbirds come back so I've especially been watering the honeysuckle.
