wow that is great! i work with several people, including my boss, who live in Georgetown. one of these days i will have to go visit to see what the buzz is all about!

I'm surprised that so many people take these lists seriously. Many of the cities that made the list are a joke.

Not surprising. I love downtown GT with all the antique shops. It has a great vibe. I grew up in MA and for some reason downtown GT reminds me of some of the towns back east.

Their are so many of these list and they all differ that I have started to ignore them. I mean one list had El Paso as a top rated city. Nothing against El Paso but hardly a top ten in US IMO.

Georgetown is where my CAPTAIN (boss) lives...and most of the doctors/surgeons i work with.......they love it so much they dont mind the commute to Ft Hood....
