That was strictly with tongue planted firmly in cheek. That is why I put a wink at the end. The Alico building, pretty much the only "skyscraper" in Waco, allowed us to fondly refer to Waco as the town that flips you off as you fly over. I spent several years there, and do have lot's of fond memories.

Those two are awesome.. I have always like the One Shoreline plaza in Corpus, and that 2010 building with the trees way up, will be a great building.

ahhh it's the Waco skyline! My favorite hand gesture

Renaissance Tower and Fountain Place are my favorite Dallas skyscrapers. From a certain angle, Fountain Place looks like a rocket ship!

Originally, it was supposed to have a twin, as well as Cityplace and the the BOA tower. I remember watching the show "Dallas" and Cliff Barnes' office was in Fountain Place.

The Main Place in Houston is replacing some buildings that are being demolished and it's scheduled to be completed by 2010... at the earliest. But it's a great looking building. It needs to go up in Ft. Worth).
And I went to Corpus Christi in 2004, and those were the first buildings I saw. Great architecture, and the two towers right next to the water makes them 5 star in my book.

I would say Reunion Tower.
If people were to see a picture of these towers in the day (and for most, the night too) they would say "oh...it's...a ....box....thats...very nice?"
But The Reunion Tower is the Space needle of Texas, a ball of glowing light.
Dallas BOA Tower wouldn't make an impression in the day...questionable at night, the other skyscrapers really give it 'umph'.
Im not going to Rank, but Reunion Tower is the building that shouts 'Texas' most...so I'll only rank that one...1st
But My favorite Texan Skyscraper would be:
The Fountain Place!

Its soooo cooollll!!!!It doesn't really give a Texan feel...or shout 'Texas' but it is an great example of modern architecture.
