Lived in San Antonio for pretty much my entire life. It is a fine city, but the way it has grown has made me long for something more peaceful
Lived in Hondo for a few years when I was 10-13. It is a cool town, not the nicest, but there are a lot worse. Good sense of community and very peaceful

Basically like living full-time somewhere like living in a house or apartment.

I doubt it was 120 in April.

That's right.
The 107 degree high temperature in Del Rio was the hottest April temperature observed at the climate site since records have been kept. Reliable weather records date back to 1905.

I live in San Antonio, previously lived in New Braunfels, for a while lived in Houston (have house there, now rented) and now spend lots of time in Plano where my son lives.

Born at Lufkin, Angelina County.

Then my dad moved us around with his job:
- Old Velasco (now Freeport), Brazoria County
- Clute, Brazoria County
- Liberty, Liberty County
- Houston, Harris County
- Back to Lufkin in '58

Then I went into the Air Force '68:
- Amarillo, Potter County (basic training)
- Wichita Falls, Wichita County (technical training)

After school out of state, I left the SW in '80 but returned with my job in 1984:
- Lubbock, Lubbock County

Left the state again in '86 but partially returned again after retirement:
- Muleshoe, Bailey County
- Hobby farm now in Hale County
