Does anyone know how much of an upgrade cost First Texas Homes charges to add a shower to a half bath?

You need to speak to First Texas. If it can be done, the cost will vary depending on where you're building and the floorplan and finishes you choose. It also will depend on how far you are into the building process. The later you wait to make changes the more expensive they are.

also depends on materials - we spent 20k redoing our master bath with new glass enclosed shower, high end tile and fixtures and over there top lighting -

Instead of asking a bunch of random strangers on the internet, why don't you call the company in question?

you can get free design ideas from many of suppliers and vendors - you can hire there subs yourself or hire a single company that swill do all the work -

others will let you buy the materials and you pay a flat fee for labor -you just have to ask questions and gert out and look

no matter what you do have a exact and specific plan or list of things you want done - from painting the trim to replacing the toilet or replacing the fixtures -
