Here is El Paso, its Miller Genuine Draft, Tacate, or Corona.

Tacates are used most often here to make red eyes, or with some lime and salt. Corona is a lime and salt beer here fort sure. MGD is a big fave in El Paso.

I dont drink any more, but when I did, it was MGD, or Corona. And yes Southern Comfort.. loved that stuff a bit too much.

I tried some Rahr Red, made by the Rahr Brewery right here in Fort Worth, and it is quite good. I wish them all success.

My husband likes that one. I had no idea it was a Texas beer.

Reporting back to say hubby didn't like it much. But he finished the six pack over the weekend! Didn't want to waste beer, I guess.

Never had Shiner Black or even heard of it. Is it a stout?
I have had a Shiner Black - on tap. It's very good, especially if you like the Bock. Still has the distinctive Shiner taste, but a little stronger flavor and a nutty piquant finish. It is definitley not a stout.

Love Real Ale! Both me and my husband can drink it. (Sometimes he buys things that are a little too strong)

blueskies49: Shiner Hefeweizen is great stuff, IMO! I keep both that and Shiner Bock at hand.

Well, hubby prefers Ziegenbock so I guess no more Hefeweizen! I'd like to try Shiner blond, though.
