Hi yall how do you think the weather will be this spring in the great state of Texas? Have you seen any Blue Bonnets or other wildflowers this season?

Bumper crop of all the wildflowers around Austin this year, but it is getting to the end of the wildflower season, I think...

I've heard this weekend is the peak here in East Texas. Yes, it was a very good year with all of the spring rain that we had!

Lots of fields of purple (?) near our home.

Come early for the 2024 eclipse. There may, or may not be wildflowers.

Not sure when to see the 3ft tall bluebonnets rumored to in Big Bend, I've been there for cactus and yucca blom, but have never seen their Bluebonnets.

Bluebonnets in Big Bend lead off the rest of the state starting in February.

North Texas’ bluebonnet festival in Ennis is this weekend. https://www.bluebonnettrail.org/

It's been a great year thus far for wildflowers.
We get tons of Indian Paintbrush in North DFW, and others.

From my fields: (sorry, these are just iPhone pics, but you get the point . . .)
