There are a lot of good people out My name is Bob and I am just in the process of moving out to cornudas.I already have a trailer out there and today I get my water tank and septic tank. I am almost finished. Hope to see you soon. The cafe is open again and that is a plus also a good place to get together. Take care and I will talk to you later.

Thanks for the welcome, Bob. My name is Steve and we cant wait to get out there permanantly. We too will be living in our 5th wheel trailer until I build our house ( I owned my own construction company for over a decade and can build one cheaper than a double wide costs!). I will be going with the water tank setup (plastic tank - 2500 gal) and putting in a septic tank as well.
We will probably be coming back out the end of January for a week to just hang out, put a gate in, hopefully meet you, Brie, Tee, Chico and anyone else I have met here on the forums.
Its great that May's is open once again - as I said before, it seems as though the area is picking up - hopefully not too much as we like it somewhat isolated if you know what I mean.
Feeling like I know some of you fairly well thru these forums certainly helps and I cant wait to meet face to face.
I grew up in my earlier years in El Paso (Sturgeon drive) as my dad was at White Sands Missle Range MARS program and that is why we decided to come back to an area I have always loved.
Im pretty sure I can find work (over-dimensional truck driver, crane operator, rigger as well as construction and all around hany man) in the El Paso area unless of course I manage to work out something for the "Junction Gas station"
Hoep to talk you you more.

Steve

Good to hear from you Steve. With all your qualifications you shouldn't have any trouble finding work. You should have been here yesterday. Brie and Tee had a cookout and it was great I got to meet some of the people that live in the area. I really enjoyed it. I know the place you are talking about, but I don't know who owns it. I have to go to Dell City today, so maybe I will stop in.The last time I went by there there was several big trucks and some cars there. It is a good location. Talk to you later and looking forward to you moving out.

Bob

Steve,
We all had a great time. After we pushed ourselves from the table, Ken Kind and I went through a case of clay's with our 12 gauges. Be great to see you when you get out here. Brie

There was someone here that asked what
Jim Clemmets wanted for his place. I got a private
E- mail from someone telling me that he turned
up in Florida again recently, and is trying to sell
used aircraft from there with a bunch of company's
that he keeps regestering in other peoples names.
The same person told me that he has the place here
listed for three hundred seventy something thousand
dollars, a bit much for an "airport" that needs it's
water delivered. Brie

Default Rumor in Dell City about Clemmets

There is a RUMOR floating around Dell City that Clemmits
Was busted with drugs in one of his planes that I heard
for the first time about a week ago. I have heard the same
rumor told to me almost verbatim by a bunch of different
people, with the statement that it is HER that is trying to
sell the place. Almost all of his shell company's are in her
name, so the land might be as well. REMEMBER folks NONE
of this is documented. Brie
