The Dallas Zoo has 3 regions: ZooNorth, Wilds of Africa, and the new Giants of the Savanna.

Yeah, completely agreed. I also enjoy aquariums too.

My favorite aquarium in Texas was Corpus Christi, then Kemah Boardwalk Aquarium.

Yeah, it's just my 4th month of being a member too. I normally get involved a lot in the City VS City forum. It's really easy sparking a conversation there no matter what you end up saying. So many homers and bashers in that forum alone. It's pretty hilarious.

Houston's zoo was alright, but no match for the Cheyenne Mountain zoo in my hometown Colorado Springs. That zoo is literally in the mountains.

I also remember the animals in Colorado Springs being alot larger. The giraffes in Houston's zoo and in that video posted of Dallas's zoo are minuscule. Same with the lions, they're tiny. I don't think they're feeding them good enough here in good ol' "everything's bigger in Texas".

I wasn't aware of that. I wouldn't have even thought so since the Dallas zoo is larger.

Why not? Do they have some height restriction in urban areas like those with skyscrapers?
