Good afternoon to everybody here.

Would anyone of you here know of companies in or close to the field of aviation (preferably in Texas), which then again are willing to employ and sponsor a guy like me from Germany?

I'm looking for jobs in a flight operations IT environment or also with a software- or service provider serving companies like airlines, fbo's or airports.

Any help would be greatly aprreciated.
Thanx - Robin

Try Southwest Airlines, Love Field, Dallas, Texas
Or American Airlines, Forth Worth, Texas

They both have big Ops in the DFW area.

There are also staffing companies that specialize in working with people who need sponsorship. Many are on the east coast but place people all over the country.

Keep in mind that it costs a company approximately $5,000 to sponsor somone on an H1B Visa so you definitely want a bigger company.

Like the OP said, I would try Southwest or American.

Good luck.

Also consider, Lufthansa has (or has had) flights to DFW. Who do they partner with in the US?

Also, check Craigslist. Look under software or systems or technical. I've seen listings for large multi-station Ops support facilities listed. The idea being that typically these are staffing companies or recruiters. A good way to get additional info.

Thanx for the feedback so far. Southwest only employ US Cititzens, thats what I found out so far, Lufthansa hardly ever seems to be looking for staff in HOU or DFW. I will keep looking at Craigslist and also try and get into contact with so kind of staffing companies or recruiters. Would you have some kind of contact details for me? Thx
