Boy you are not lying about the dangerous storms in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Those severe thunderstorms between the hours of 1-6am in the morning keep me up all night. The crazy lightning flashes and explosive thunder. Goodness, I do not like it.

My only issue with the summers is that they're about a month too long. But the rest of the year is hard to beat!

NO!

I've been miserable since I moved here in April. It's currently October and it's still too hot for me. It's been really muggy the past few days too. 85% humidity here right now makes it feel much hotter.

Pretty much half of the year is miserable to me. I guess we don't get autumn here at all? I'm used to 60s and low 70s right now.

I agree and feel the same way. It's almost depressing when the heat drags on and on. It should get nice the end of October. November thru Feb. aren't too bad overall but it can get pretty rainy, dreary, and cold then sunny and warm within days. I'm up in The NE part of the country for a few months enjoying a real fall!

The heats been dragging on and on in SoCal too. But Texas is worse. I agree that late fall, such as in late October til about mid April, the weather is good. It's not too hot and not blistering cold. Although cold fronts can blow in and make it cold. I'd give Texas weather a 6.5 out of 10. All points taken off because of the prolonged summer heat. But besides that the weather is pretty good.

Not enough steady rainfall in summer and it's too soggy in winter. Those are really my only complaints.

I think Texas has some of the best springs, though. April through early May is awesome.

Texas has a Fall?! News to me!

There's a lot of things I love about Texas but this weather (particularly 2016) is NOT one of them. I feel very blessed to be living here right now but I've come to a realization about myself that I love the outdoors and cool-cold weather, which is going to necessitate a move for me by then end of 2017. I'm grateful for my experiences here but it's just that time for a new chapter...sadly without awesome BBQ and Tex-Mex!
