Looking for info on Back, Texas. About 9 miles north of McLean (I-40).
I can't find any info on this town. Is it a ghost town? Is there still a Back, Texas?
If anyone has any info on Back please let me know.
Thank you.

Default Just Curious

We've got a few folks on here who do live in the Panhandle, and they might know whether it is or not. I was able to Mapquest it and there it was, north of McLean. Why the interest in Back, Texas??

Google "back, tx", a tad of info there; however, it must not be incorporated, as city-data.com has nothing on it.

Google earth maps show some kind of human-created structures in that area. Whether I'd call it a "town" or not, I dunno.

I am planning a motorcycle trip for next summer. I want to ride from Hell, Michigan to Back, Texas. To Hell and Back.
This will be a 1200 mile ride and I would have 24 hours to do it but I need to know if there is anything in Back, Texas.
All I need is a sign that says Back. I know it sounds crazy but this will be my fourth time doing a long distance ride like this.
I wish I would have thought of this sooner, I was just on I-40 in August.

This is the ride I did this past summer.
