Spring Branch,New Braunfels are smaller towns around SA although nowdays you might need to be outside NB since its getting bigger. Comfort is a small town, Center Point is a spot on the highway going towards Kerrville where folks live. Johnson City and Blanco are towns to look at. On the norther end of the hill country you have Burnet and Marble Falls. Mable Falls is really pretty and both those towns are close to Austin than SA. Lots of towns to choose rom. Might try finding a job first and go from there.

Yes the towns you all mentioned I was thinking about and the job aspect is important. we are trying to figure out if they have any engineering jobs availible and do you know the state of the TX economy? Ohio is in the pits right now and unemployment is not unlikely. Thanks again for all your help.
