Hi-
I've just been to the edge of Waco fueling up on the way to Austin.

Is the Dr. Pepper Museum worth it??

Thanks,
fallguy

I thought it was interesting. You could also check out the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame, Texas Sports Hall of Fame and the Mayborn Museum. They're all within about a mile of each other.

It's a nice diversion. It won't take more than an hour of your time.

I see that mayhem154 and I had the same idea... as long as you're doing museums in Waco, check out the Mayborn Museum Complex, too. IMO, it's more entertaining than the Dr. Pepper museum, especially if you have kids.

You can drive to Dublin and get a taste of the original Dr. Pepper formula.

You can get more than a "taste" - they still make it using the original recipe. You can buy it in a lot of locations in North Texas. Real DP is a lot different than the stuff that is on the typical grocery store shelf. Dublin is a cool little town. Stop in if you are in the area.

It's pretty nice and the tour wasn't very long either.

Lightbulb Be A Pepper Again

You know, out of all the times I've been to and through Waco, I've never stopped by the Dr Pepper Museum. If I do a day trip out there one day (likely after I get my new car), I really need to stop by there.
