Hello All, I just moved to Toronto 4 months ago and is renting right now. But I want to eventually buy a home in a decent neighbor that has the potential to grow quickly with population.

So what are some of fastest growing neighborhoods in GTA or around GTA in the next 10 year that I should look into? Thank you.

A lot of times what you have in the outlying areas of the GTA is

Farmland (no growth)
Farmland (no growth)
Farmland (no growth)
1000 new houses
1000 houses (no growth)
1000 houses (no growth)
1000 houses (no growth)

So the fastest growing neighbourhoods in the suburban periphery generally get build out within a decade and then not much growth. I don't think there's much of a correlation between rate of population growth and home value appreciation either. The places that are growing fastest are generally just the closest areas to the city that have room for new subdivisions and where new subdivision are allowed. These days, that seems to be mostly in Brampton, Vaughan, Milton, North Oakville, Ajax, Whitby, Markham and Stouffville.
