Hello everyone,

I am considering moving from forest hill to the beaches area. I am very much on a budget so would only be able to pay about $1000 for an apartment. This leaves me with very few options, including two elementary school options for my son: CLIFFSIDE or NORWAY JUNIOR, depending on where I will rent.

They both rank well below the forest hill school that he attends at the moment (at FH 90% of students score same or higher than provincial average, NORWAY 57-64%, and CLIFFSIDE even lower, I think somewhere in the 30%'s.)

I didn't expect this from schools in the Beaches. Can anyone comment if you've had experience with these schools? I am also aware that academics are not everything, and the school also has to have students who are kind, compassionate, confident. We have all that in FH, and I wanted to get some feedback on the other two.

thanks in advance!

CLIFFSIDE is not the beaches. It is east of the beaches. It is a fun area with lots of great things to do. Lots of cultural events.

You can try doing a search using postal codes for the area you are looking at using

and then do a look up by postal code
