Does anyone know......Are there any Moderators who patrol the Canada forums ?

It would be nice to have a Moderator who would keep the insults under control. Yes I am taking about the constant and unrelenting jibes from the US trolls.

Anybody ?

Actually there is a mod for the Canada section and also some relief mods. Credit where due, they have done a good job containing the trolls in here. If you report a suspected troll and we know it is probably one particular offender - they normally clean it up in short order. Also, don't assume the troll is American........

All you have to do with posts you believe are out of line is press the red triangle in the right hand corner of a post and state what you think the problem is. Moderators do not read every single post even when there is a moderator that is assigned to a specific forum. So when people post "mod, remove this post," nothing is likely to happen as chances are it won't be seen. You have to actually use that triangle to report it.

According to:

//www.city-data.com/forum/faq/1...ator-list.html

PJSaturn is the moderator of the Canadian forums.

As netwit suggests, reporting a post that you feel violates the T.O.S. is the only sure way that it will be noticed by a moderator.

Exactly ^ .

Moderators are volunteers who have regular jobs and other commitments outside of C-D Land. We are not able to sit and read threads 24/7 to look for ToS violations. We depend on members to report troll posts, personal attacks and other violations to bring them to our attention. If a violation is not reported, it may fall through the cracks.
