Use the advice given, and have the car checked out thoroughly. The mileage on the car is not a concern, assuming the car wasn't neglected for its whole life. I drove my Toyota Avalon from Washington DC to Phoenix with 95,000 miles, and didn't even think twice about the trip. The car was very well maintained from new, so all the maintenance was up to date. IMO, a well maintained car in good condition should have no problems.

My 01 Corolla has 150K with absolutely no problems. Unless you and/or previous owners have really sucked at getting regular maintenance done, you'll be fine.

Ditto to all the prior advice with one additional item to check out.

Your Car Battery.....If you know the history and age, you can use that as a guide to replacement.

Most people just wait till they have a major problem .. Not a good idea when your making a long trip.

Personally I would just use common sense as to how fast you feel you need to drive. I like 60mph on long trips.
Saves fuel as well.

I've driven a Toyota with 120000 miles on it coast to coast no problem. If you have taken care of this car and its running well then I wouldn't worry about this at all. I would have it checked out first just to make sure, Belts and such other than that it should be fine. 95000 miles really is nothing anymore on a well maintained vehicle.

Your AAA membership temp card will be just fine. The only thing people don't always realize is the towing that comes with the card. The basic membership gives very little towing distance, where as the higher price card gives a much further distance. Check your card and see what membership you bought.
