No, not really. American car enthusiasts admit that American cars have not been perfect, while Japanese car fanboys live in a delusional world where every Toyota or Honda runs for 300,000 miles and never sees a repair shop.
We can go back and forth on this but in my area, I rarely see a Toyota, Honda, or Nissan broken down and never on fire but everyday I see a GM or Ford on the side of the road broken down and have even seen several GM's on fire. And lets not forget all the homes that burned down because of Fords and their cruise control fires.
Never heard anyone say Toyotas are perfect, just that they are more reliable. get it right Fleet.
