Stupidly, I didn't close the hydraulic hatchback door and the window shattered. Anyone know what I should expect to pay to replace it if I go to a Toyota-approved repair shop in Los Angeles? It is a 2008. I don't think the hydraulic was damaged. Thanks for any helpful feedback.
Too high a deductible. I'll have to pay out of pocket. Nothing on goggle that i can find that might give me a clue. I'll talk to the ins co. tomorrow but just to get the names of some repair shops, not to put in a claim.
If its just glass call any glass shop and they can give you a cost.If you go to a dealer that is what they are going to do plus charge you a dealer charge.
Since it is a power window, you may have damaged the electric motor too. It is not operated by hydraulics. That said, I doubt it will be cheap. I don't think the rear door is hydraulically operated either.

I was going to suggest around $750, rough guesstimate only. Figure $500 for glass and $150-200 for labor, give or take on both.
Then I found this link, which sort of answers your question, but for a 2010 model. I wouldn't be surprised if the price is about the same for your 4Runner.
