I am thinking of buy a used Toyota 4runner V6 2010 and newer under 45k miles and under $25k in the ~ next 6 months. I might do a new 2013 if it was a good deal. My purpose for this vehicle are family hauler, tow boat/travel trailer (in the near future) and utility trailer etc. What do you guys think?

My wife bought a 2013 last November. Amazing vehicle. We've taken it offroad in Moab on stock tires and I was blown away by its capabilities. The V6 feels like it has a lot of torque, and downshifts are very smooth. It is a true off-road machine that is smooth and stylish enough for city driving. Towing capacity is rated at 5,000 lbs.

How big is your family and how big is your tow load? The 4Runner can handle a family of four with a decent amount of gear in the back. But if you've got a larger family or are towing a large boat, you may want to upsize to the Sequoia.

Depending on your towing requirements you could also get a 4 Runner with a v8 instead of the v6.

Not a 2010 or newer. OP you are gonna be hard pressed to find a 5th gen with low mileage for under 25K but good luck on your search. Just make sure you get the 4wd model.

Had one and loved it. Only had it a short period of time as a drunk crossed the center line and hit me head on. It saved my life. I would buy another one instantly.

we had an 08 4wd for 3 years, and can say that v6 (which i assume is similar to the current model) handled towing our Ranger boat not only around WI when we lived there, but pulled it thru the mountains when we moved down here. But that was probably a 3500# boat/trailer (estimate), cant say how it would handle the weight if fully loaded down though. And the 2 winters we had it back in WI it handled the snow very well; so OP if you can find what you're looking for you should have a nice ride.
Not sure on the price range mentioned but one never knows.

Thanks everyone for your input. I am starting a family and the baby is due in the first week of December so it's a small family with a small dog. My 2002 CRV is getting old so I am looking for a replacement. I will get a boat and travel trailer in the near future weight in around 3500 lbs dry so I think the V6 4runner can handle that. I agree with trlhiker that it will take some times to find a decent 5th gen low mile for under 25k. It's weird that I really love camping or travel in a travel trailer but I never done it before and I just kept dreaming about it . Again, I appreciated everyone inputs and learn a lot from it.

A 4runner is an outstanding SUV.

I'd be shocked if you find a 5th gen with low miles for under 25K. The one good thing about runners is that they hold their value very well.

Don't rule out a 08-09 V8 AWD. I promise you would not be dissapointed. The newer body style is all you're gaining with the 2010 and newer. Same v6 drivetrain with no v8 option.
