Toyota has the C-HR coming which is a small crossover. I can assure you that the Corolla as a compact sedan is not going anywhere. It is one of the dominant vehicles in its segment. Compact car sales have also held out comparatively well to other car segments since the rise of the crossover. It's midsize cars (Camry) that have been hit the hardest. If you see any Toyota sedan leaving the market it would most likely be the Avalon.
I forecast car sales at the model level for a different OEM. Our competitive intel has zero indication the Corolla would be going anywhere.
The Corolla is one of the best selling cars in the history and won't go anywhere anytime soon. Scion is gone and the iM is now the Corolla hatchback, I guess no more Matrix.
The rumor mill is that Toyota is ending the current Corolla as most know it.
No mention of the Corolla name ending. Just the sedan. To be replaced by a small SUV/CUV - or whatever they are called now.
Blasphemy. Leave my Corolla alone!
