We currently have a Lexus ES350, and a Yukon XL. Need some recommendations for our next vehicle? We travel a lot, so it needs to be roomy, very reliable, something classy that will still look great in 10 years. I'm thinking 4-Runner? Minivan? Suggestions?

I like minivans but most people would not consider it classy. They are very practical for hauling people and doubling as trucks. A compromise would be the Highlander. If you have extra money the Lexus RX is more cushy but less roomy than the HL.

I'll check out the Highlander ... thank you!

If you like Lexus, I would get either the RX or the GX. The RX is the classier version on the Highlander while the GX is the classier version on the 4Runner.

I love our Lexus. My favorite is the Lexus LX, a few years ago before the front was restyled "sportier" ... I prefer classy and timeless, over sporty.

The Land Cruiser is pretty timeless. How does it compare size and price-wise to the Lexus XL?

Land Cruiser and 4Runner are either for go anywhere people or for pretenders to go anywhere.
Toyota Sequoia will be about right for you, if you were not to care a bit about mpg. It's about as big as your Yukon, as you got spoiled with size. And it's heck of a car too.
if you want classy, get FJ Cruiser. Strange car, does not depreciate. There's a new version of it on horizon.

I love that Sequoia! Gonna check that one out, for sure! And we really sort of do go everywhere ... we live 1,200 miles from our family so we drive up every year, and we travel a lot, in general.

Funny, nothing can make an suv look classy to me, it is an SUV, maybe becasue I came up when the suburban was basically a farm vehicle. They all look like SUVs to me and none look classy.

Classy . . . Get a Fully restored Packard, or maybe a Jensen INterceptor Convertable. Bently or RR Cloud II.
