Ive had 5 Camrys in my life. Ive gotten tired of them and think of getting a Mustang convertible..
Question, honestly.. Is Ford Mustang anywhere as good as Camry in reference to reliability??
Remember 5 Camrys! I just find them drab. You can change their color, put pieces of plastic on them but its still a Camry. Im not saying they are not reliable.
I would never buy a car I was tired of or didn't like even if it were guaranteed to never break.
BTW... it is not guaranteed that a Mustang will break. I know people that own them that do not have issues.
You want a sporty and reliable car? Buy Lincoln MarkVIII. Spend few hundred bucks to upgrade stereo. Enjoy old school American luxury. Or, Buick Park Avenue Ultra.
They are so cheap that you can keep Camry and buy one of those. Ride in style, when you want to, ride reliable, when you need to.
I can tell you if you get a certain mustang then they are pretty reliable cars as long as your maintain them well. I own both Toyotas and Fords and my Fords have held up pretty good. If your looking for a new mustang, I would stay away from the turbo 4cyl and buy a 5.0 V8 with a manual trans. If your looking for older ones, you can opt for the 4.6 V8 with also a manual trans and this is a great drive train that will get many miles. Mustangs are fun to drive and a good bang for your buck in performance.
