Please be aware that the City of Los angeles can cite you for expired registration and god knows what else if you park in their parking lots. I'm going to use private parking lots from here on out. the last thing that I need is added stress when I come back from a trip.

To answer the question everyone is dying to know. 4 years ago, I ended up changing my flight and did not fly out of LAX... instead I flew out of my parents' city and left my car there and it was longer than a month.

Metro Park and Ride parcels are clearly not watched to the extent that a private part might be. To keep your auto from getting broken into, I might propose stopping at the El Segundo station free of charge as it is in a protected, upscale city. Its only two stops to Aviation/lax station where you can get the shuttle to the terminals.

Default don't park here

The Westchester neighborhood homeowners are getting nasty with cars parked there. I have been threatened with towing, nasty messages left on my car, and the last time I was ticketed. Not going there again.

I parked in Westchester behind the YMCA on Alverstone and when I got back from my trip my car was broken into. I ask a neighbor in the area if she saw anything and she said it has be happening a lot. I guess the crooks are reading the post as well to find cars.
