I stayed at the Hilton in Chicago last winter and it was in a great location to all of the bars and restaurants in the area, right on Miracle Mile. You could also take a drive out to Six Flags.

My mom stayed in the Hilton in the financial district of NYC when she was on business and she said it was not a bad stay. Financial district is a little bit far from Times Square or that stuff, but there's things to do everywhere in New York

Hmm, the Hilton in Orlando seems nice.

More suggestions?

No sorry, stayed in one once and never again. Prefer the Starwood group, Westin, Le meridian, St Regis and W hotels or Intercontinental group.
