Anywhere in the US, that is. I have earned a free roundtrip flight through SouthWest, and as a relatively new traveler, I'm really excited about the possibilities! I have a pretty good idea of where I want to go, but I was just curious to see other people's answers and the reasoning behind them.

I can and will too. The only problem is that SW has very few direct flights to anywhere decent, so with transfers and layovers cross country may take 9-12 hours rather than 5.
We're planning a flight to the NE, probably Baltimore, then rent a car and head up through Philly, DC, NY and Boston to Portland Maine for lobster, then drive back through other states on a more scenic rural route over a total of 10 days.
It would help to know where you are and what you're looking for in a destination. For instance, do you prefer a place that has lots of history, do you want nightlife, would you prefer just to lie on a beach most of the day, etc.
San Francisco or Boston. I love both cities, both have great culture, architecture, restaurants, and I love the regions around them , both with wonderful scenic beauty and varied landscapes.
Well I was going to say Australia, but SW doesn't go there.
I generally use points for tickets to places that are expensive to fly to. For example, from Orlando to Portland, OR. But I wouldn't use a free ticket to fly Orlando to PHL, because you can find them for under $200 if you keep an eye and can be flexible about your travel dates.
I would likely go to somewhere on the Westcoast having never been there. San Francisco, Seattle or Portland, OR. I would love to drive down the OR coast.
SW is not in Atlanta (yet) But I would fly into SanFran and drive up the coast and fly out out of portland OR.
