$200 from Denver to London on British Airways. It was either 1998 or 1999, whenever BA inaugurated its Denver to London route. I heard rumors it was coming and was awake and on the internet when the first posts came online that the fare was live.
I went to London with a girlfriend and we had a splendid time.
The best airfare that I have ever had was the $99 RT from Philly to the Bahamas. That also included limo to the resort, beach chairs and towels, buffet lunch and dinner, shower and changing area, and limo back to airport. It was a one-day trip, leaving very early in the morning and then returning to Philly about midnight, but the price was exceptional.
When did you get this last? I'd like more info...sounds fun

I got an $85 roundtrip flight from Detroit to New York City a few years ago on Spirit Airlines. Haven't had much luck finding really cheap international flights out of Detroit though. :/
I flew from Ruse to Sofia, Bulgaria, on Balkan Bulgarian Airline for 14 Leva. At that time, the official rate of exchange was 2.5 leva to the dollar, but I had bought some leva on the black market in Romania for about 7 leva to the dollar, so my Ruse-Sofia flight was $2, including shuttle to/from airports. That was in 1968.
In 2000, my travel agent phoned me and told me he had $99 RTs Detroit/Cancun/Detroit, air only. I grabbed a pair, they included one free night in a Detroit hotel and 5 days free parking at a Detroit airport parking lot. No problem finding $20 hotel rooms in Cancun City, and $10 in interior towns.
Okay, instead of all you people bragging about these trans-Atlantic flights and you're super low airfare costs...why don't you add in WHY they are so cheap! I'm very curious and cannot see how you're able to get such a cheap airfare.
I paid $350 round trip to fly from Jackson MS to Chicago IL, 750 miles.

Why are fares so cheap?
1) Ability to take advantage of specials that arise from time to time. Subscribe to airfarewatchdog.com to notify you of the great deals out of your target airfare.
2) Ability to travel off-season.
3) Complete flexibility.
As for Jackson, MS, it is usually in the top 10 of the highest fare cities in the US despite the presence of Southwest Airlines in the market. One thing that hurts is that there are few alternatives to Jackson.
By the way, $350 RT is a good fare for that city pair.
