Rat on New York Subway train sends fellow passengers in hysterical and they scream. It shows New Yorkers not really a tough mob. No one attempted to kill it as they were too afraid of it.

That rat looks frantic, like it missed its stop off point. Maybe it knows if it runs through, people will accidentally drop food.

Why would you want to kill an animal simply for being in the wrong place at the wrong time? That doesn't make you tough.

Also, they look like they're laughing and not too scared.
