why do I have to explain why I don't want to travel to those places ? well no 1 is because I have no interest in seeing any of that and totally not racial and I don't know where you got the racial bit from . I think you are just trying to start trouble on this forum ...
Add in violent crimes against tourists and I'd guess that the number would be about half.
Figure 50% of the Caribbean (some of it is developed and reasonably to very safe (St. Maarten, Cayman Islands, etc.) but a lot of it is iffy at best and dangerous at worst.

I've vacationed to at least a dozen Caribbean islands and never felt unsafe. We always rent a car and drive around the island. We've never had a theft or any other crime in our group.
Yep. I'm not much on cold weather (and I live in Ohio where it gets COLD), so if I went to those places it definitely would have to be in the summer months. And even then, no guarantee as referenced in my post about the New England states when I visited them. I suppose if I had the opportunity to see Mt. Rushmore in South Dakota that would be cool, but not finding anything significant in North Dakota that would draw me there.

I have no desire to go to Africa, the Middle East, or any part of Asia. South America holds no interest for me, either.
Honestly, outside of the US, Canada, and Mexico, I only really care to visit Europe. I love learning about all the places, cultures, experiences, but to actually be there...nope. No idea why..I love travel, love learning, love experiencing, etc. Those places just hold no appeal for me.
Stick me in a cold, bustling, northern European city and I am all good. Or middle of nowhere in the US or Canada and I am golden.
You really should go to South Africa. It's safe and beautiful and they have a very good infrastructure. Also Argentina. It's safe and beautiful. The wine country around Mendoza is quite nice.

I've been to or through at least the eastern 3rd of the country with the exceptions of Connecticuit, Rhode Island, and Delaware. I've been to Florida many times (though it's been well over 20 years and would love to get back there), but the next state I really want to visit that I've never been to is Texas! I know that probably is a shock, considering the bad rap you guys get being part of the south and all, but being the 2nd most populous state in the country, 3 cities over 1 million people, and from what I understand a pretty good economy, you all must be doing something right!
I can't imagine a place I wouldn't travel - other than, perhaps, at a point in time. I'm not interested in stepping into an active war zone, for instance. But I've been almost everywhere, alone, and I'd gladly go back to anyplace I've been. I travel to meet people and to learn a little about their lives. So anyplace with people...
I can understand having a certain curiosity about what it's like to actually be in a socialist dictatorship and experience that a little. But if you want that, far more staightforward and safer to go for a place like Kazakhstan where the local kleptocrats actually want foreign investment and tourism and make it somewhat easy to go on holiday there. (IIRC, you don't even need a visa for short trips to Kazakhstan anymore.)

There are a lot of reasons to vacation in TX. Depending on your interests, we have just about everything. Just avoid the Summer heat unless you are on a lake or ocean.

I've been to Florida in the summer, and honestly I'll take hot over cold any day. The thing is, while we don't get a lot of 90+ days up here, they do occur, (we're expected to get about 9 or 10 this year I believe) and sometimes the humidity is actually worse up here when it gets that hot than in Florida, if you can believe it. As for Texas, I'd love to see Dallas, Houston, San Antonio (I heard the River Walk is outstanding), Padre Island, and the rest of the Gulf Coast, as well as The Alamo. Western part, like El Paso? Eh, not so much. Same with the panhandle. Well... maybe in the spring to chase tornadoes.
I have no interest whatsoever of visiting the "Largest Ball of Twine" located in Cawker City, KS as it has been constructed over time by any Bill, Dick or Harry happening to walk past with a piece of twine in their pocket. They probably don't even bother to tie their twine onto the end of the line but just toss theirs up there in some random location.
I urge everyone else to boycott the Cawker City Twine Ball as well
