27+ yrs, wonderful stays, very warm and helpful, sometimes entire guesthome / beachouse and even mansion to yourself! (Several hosts had plans to travel, so left their keys with neighbors, so we had the entire 'estate' + cars cooking + fridge...)
Local meals / cooking events are wonderful ways to get to know an area.

Often stay on farms so we can help with projects (Cutting hay today in AZ!) Flight is not until 7PM, so should be able to work on farm until 5PM and still make the flight. It is GREAT, fresh cut hay smells nice, the young hawks are following us around to fetch varmints, blue skies, 78F. Mtns in 3 directions. Sunrise and sunset was spectacular from our free lodging. Breakfast was hearty, and farm fresh!~

And to think our entire 2016 was spent enjoying this (free hosting) worldwide!

It's great!

Wow, I think I got a lot of free money in 2016 because I volunteered to help with some IT projects for a bank.

It is GREAT! Clean bathrooms, nice computers with high-speed Internet, and free A/C!
