The top of my list is the Frank Lloyd Wright Falling Water house. That's 7 1/2 hours which is about my limit in a car.

I have a few buddies who are really into music and most have never been to New Orleans or Memphis or Cajun country. How can they be almost 70 and be music people but never set foot in New Orleans? I'm thinking about a road trip starting from St. Louis and heading south at a leisurely pace along the Mississippi into the delta with stops in Memphis, Clarksdale, Vicksburg, etc., and into New Orleans over to Lafayette and Eunice. The food should be good too. I'm open to suggestions.

Even if I drive a couple of hours I get horrible headache. Otherwise I want to do short trips from Houston to Pensacola, NOLA, Arkansas and south padre etc . Not sure if it will be interesting to drive for a full day or more.

interesting (as usual)

Wisconsin FLW offerings are nice... Hope you got to see those on your last trip west.

this one is similar to a 'rammed earth' I plan on building next.

There are so many excellent road trips I would like to do.

will be taking Rialta + ADV mc for a Utah Parks trip soon.

I sure wish Scenic Byways website would have not been 'commandeered' / shut down by FHWA it was SO good for road trip dreaming / planning.
alternatives, but not nearly what was available 5 yrs ago...

RoadTrip America

and this fun trip planner

Many Scenic Byways I have taken on my MC during my 'The Came Bronson' jaunts of the 1970's

This is still a favorite:
https://scenicbyways.info/byway/2054.html (often did it after work on long summer evenings)
Another 'not to miss' (Beartooth) https://scenicbyways.info/byway/2281.html

and I did my first 100 miler bicycle ride on this one (very dumb!' (Highest continuous road in USA)) + 2500' elevation climbing just to get to this HIGH road.

After meeting somefolks from Alaska, that thought it would be fun to take an expedition RV from Canada to Argentina.... Gave me a sudden urge to take 4 months out of the boring 9 to 5 and do just the same.

NY TO California, then head south, all the way. Stop in for the sights in most all of the countries. Make a YouTube video series of the vacation.

I also met some Brazilians in Florida, the had an older Land cruiser with a roof top tent, and other gears. Fascinating ,the conversation had with them.
