A Canadian man has filed a lawsuit against Sunwing Airlines for promising a champagne service and instead serving sparkling wine.

Daniel Macduff booked a holiday to Cuba through Sunwing that advertised a complimentary on-board champagne toast.

sounds like the mother who sued her son't college and lost. The poor kid drank beer laced with LSD and jumped out a window leaving him somewhat disabled. I don't know the disability but how in the world could she think the school was liable unless the school actually gave him the beer? I hope more of these law suits are lost and the plaintiffs are stuck with paying court charges.

Oh, for God's sake. There is no difference between Champagne and sparkling wine except that to be legally called Champagne, the wine must be from the Champagne region in France. Somebody needs to get a life.

Correct -- UNLESS it is a California brad that had "Champagne" on its label before March 10, 2006.
