What do you think is the best and worst airline you've flown with in the U.S. ?

I think Delta is pretty good, and not too impressed with American.

United is the worst international airline in the world, so it might be one of the worst in the US, too.

United charges $200 to change a domestic ticked, and most tickets are under $200 so forget it. But it is cheap by United standards, they charge $400 to change an international ticket.

Plus they like to kick passengers off planes and beat them if they don't comply

That's like asking which is the cleanest dirty shirt in the laundry hamper.

How many threads can we consume rating USA air carriers? (very subjective)

Rate / choose based on your specific requirements! (who serves your favorite / frequent airport, what is your routing / timing / pricing / frequency / baggage / destinations / service...??)

Free bags
Free changes
Free internet
Free companion pass
Free Snacks

Works for me (at the moment)
, but... COULD be a whole lot better (if they had more 'directs' and a few 'red-eye' flights).
no-one-USA airline is perfect (unless you can afford your own) That too... can be a head-ache!. (FAA compliance + LOTS of costs...)
