In my 30 years of 2-4 flights a week, I've seen much worse (men and women) 300 pounders trying to mash themselves into the same outfit she's wearing, skirts so high that belly buttons were showing, men with tees that wouldn't cover there bellies and shorts that were so short that their johnsons were on display

Look around next time you are in the airport and airport lounges

I won't have to, since I stopped flying about 15 years ago. And not a moment too soon, apparently, judging by the bizarre behavior of a subset of the flying populace, hoping for their fleeting Twitter fame.

That is not true at all. Please don't exaggerate. There are a few that do not dress well--but overall, most are just fine. This is coming from a person who spends 40 hours a week in an Airport that works for an Airline that has 220 daily departures. I see a lot of people...

Dress codes can have strange results.
Once I was refused entry to a restaurant because I was wearing (clean, unfaded, not torn) jeans, while my sister was admitted wearing ratty, stretched-out leggings. She looked sloppier, but jeans were expressly prohibited, while leggings weren't mention in the code.

They're trying to create clear guidelines, but they can't think of everything.

*shrug* it got her publicity so net gain for her.

Maybe she can parlay that into a Dancing With the Stars casting or whatnot.

I have no idea, just being silly about a silly situation someone is trying to get attention from.
