I am wondering where I can get accurate information re travelling into the US by air from Canada. I am Canadian, living in the US, and need to travel back to Canada. I am vaccinated so can get into Canada without problem but I need confirmation that as a non US citizen that I can get back into the US.

Does anyone know where I can find this?

Thanks!

I am from New York. I am not sure about flying, but I know if you call the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, they should know. Don’t rule out driving as an option. That is, if you are going to a state near the border. It’s a fun experience driving and crossing the border. Don’t be surprised if they ask you a lot of random questions.

716-282-1500 is the number for Lewiston, NY.

Thanks, living most of my life in Ontario, I've driven across the border many times. This time I'll be coming from Arizona (on the Mexican border) so driving would be a VERY long trip.

If anyone else is wondering, I've tried calling various numbers but am not able to get an actual person on the line. I did just find this article so it appears that it's still closed for non-essential travel through June 21st https://thepointsguy.com/guide/is-ca...en-for-travel/.

According to Air Canada, you should be able to fly from Canada back to the US. You will need a negative COVID test performed within 3 days of the flight, though. https://enroute.aircanada.com/en/tra...adians-travel/ - look under the heading "United States" about halfway down the page.

you're totally fine.

The only problem places are europe, brazil and china. Pretty much everywhere else is fine. You'll just need an antigen or pcr test 3 days old at most before flying.

You can fly back into the USA but you cannot yet drive back in.

Not clear as to why you don't consult what the USA government website says rather than randos on a message board. If you were traveling TO Canada, you would look at your country's website, wouldn't you?

Everyone coming by air from an international destination into the USA currently needs a negative COVID19 test within 72 hours/3 days before the flight. An antibody blood test doesn't qualify. It also doesn't matter if you have been vaccinated or not or actually had COVID19 in the past.

I looked at US Customs and Border Patrol (who are the ones who would grant me entry) and couldn't find it there. I also Googled various terms and couldn't find it there, so thought someone here might offer some assistance which they were kind enough to do.
