I don't know if masks are required for Tel Aviv, but COVID19 testing is still required upon entry to Israel at BG Airport.

Yes, we entered Israel by bus and were required to take at test at the border, in addition to showing a negative test result within the last few days.

There doesn’t seem to be any masking anywhere in Israel, so I’m hoping we won’t have to for the 15hr flight back.

I'm flying to LAX in a couple of weeks.. My understanding is that masks are still required there.

I'll pack it in case I need it. Will be glad to not have to wear it on the plane, tho.

Daughter and her fella just went from Den to Philly then Philly to Barcelona.

Masks were not required for the domestic leg, but they were to Spain.

They used KN95 masks for both flights to try to avoid too much exposure since they both needed neg COVID tests to board for a cruise a few days later.

I just looked at my pre-flight requirements for a Denver to Frankfurt flight on United in 10 days. I have to upload my Covid vaccination certificates two days in advance of the flight - no problem for me. For a non-vaccinated person, a Covid negative test certificate would have to be uploaded, and the test has to be less than 48 hours before the flight. Masks are also required in the flight boarding and during the flight from Denver to Frankfurt, as well as at Frankfurt airport.

Some airports are still requiring masks (even if the airplanes don't) such as JFK. I think also LGA & EWR are still requiring masks as well.

CUN to MIA two days ago. Pretty sure masks were required in CUN, definitely were not required on the plane or at MIA.

As someone has said, it depends on your destination country's mask rule.

We just got back from UK and no mask required on board or on the ground. UK doesn't have any Covid entry requirements anymore, regardless of whether or not you are vaccinated or whether you even have Covid. If you test positive, they just advise you to stay home and take care of yourself. That's pretty much it.

This has driven Covid test prices way down from the heydey of UK's covid restrictions, when the cost of PCR test might set back a tourist a couple of hundreds pounds. Now an antigen cost you about 29 pounds and PCR cost you anywhere from 65 - 75 pounds (free for UK citizens, obviously).

I wish US would drop the pre-departure testing requirement, too.

Not true. We connected at JFK for our London flight last week and there was no mask mandate and many people at the JKF airport were maskless.
