I'm thinking about taking a crusie out of Galveston in Mid-December what is the weather like on the boat and Cancun/Cozuel area? Are people laying out and swimming on the boat?

Is this a good time of year to go? If not where should I take a 4-5 trip?

Do you think the Galveston port will be open by mid-December? It was pretty devastated during Ike.

We have sailed the Caribbean in mid-December. Found it a bit too cool to swim in the ocean, but the ship was decorated beautifully for the holiday.
